OREANDA-NEWS. November 8, 2011. Max Alier, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Resident Representative in Ukraine, issued the following statement in Kyiv today:

“An International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission visited Ukraine during October 25-November 3. Progress has been made on policies to complete the second review under the Stand-by Arrangement. We have decided to take a pause to enable some additional technical work to be carried out. Policy discussions are expected to resume in the near future.”
