OREANDA-NEWS. November 08, 2011. “NADRA BANK will rank among Ukraine’s top-five banks by the year 2013,” said Mr. Robert Shetler-Jones, CEO of Group DF and Member of NADRA BANK’s Supervisory Board.

According to Mr. Shetler-Jones, NADRA BANK has all the necessary resources for meeting the goal set by shareholders. In particular, the Bank possesses one of the most expansive branch networks and offers a broad spectrum of modern banking products. “The Bank has a major asset – its loyal clientele. In essence, each client is a partner for the Bank in pursuing their goals – whether it’s a house purchase or a new company launch,” noted the Member of the Supervisory Board.

While commenting on the Supervisory Board election, Mr. Shetler-Jones explained that senior executives of Group DF and Centragas Holding, being its affiliated company and Nadra Bank’s shareholder, were included in this governance body. “Each of the Board members is a specialist in his or her domain and each of them works towards fulfilling the key objective – securing the Bank’s leadership position in the banking sector,” said Mr. Shetler-Jones.

According to him, Mr. Ivan Fursin, the Supervisory Board Chairman, is a co-owner of Centragas Holding and has extensive experience in finance business. Mr. Vyacheslav Yakimuk, Mergers and Acquisitions Director at Group DF and Mr. David Brown, Head of the Mergers and Acquisitions Department have tremendous experience developing top governance mechanisms in large companies. Ms. Anna Bezliudnaya, Group DF Director for External Relations and Communications, is also a recognized expert in managing big corporations. In addition to that, she is a top specialist in media business which is an essential tool for addressing the ambitious challenges faced by Nadra Bank.

Robert Shetler-Jones did not rule out that new members with professional banking background may be included in the Supervisory Board in order to enhance the Bank’s team and ensure a smooth transition from temporary administration to most advanced standards of banking governance.
