OREANDA-NEWS. November 11, 2011. Russia’s ProSoft Systems will supply equipment and software for information-metering system of commercial accounting electricity (IMS CAE) to Eastern backbone networks of Uzbekenergo state joint stock company.

The company said that the first stage of the project was launched and the IMS CAE will cover 14 substations at the Eastern backbone networks.

Within the first stage, ProSoft Systems will supply 14 units of equipment for collecting and transfer of data ECOM-3000 and one set of software Energosfera. Peculiarities of ECOM-3000 and Energosfera are that they can work with any electricity meters.

Uzbekenergo substations have various models of electricity meters, mainly of the production of the Uzbek-Chinese producers. At the use of IMS CAE, there will be no need to change these meters.

The IMS CAE will have three levels. The meters at the substations (lower level of IMS) will be connected with server of Dispatchers Service of Eastern backbone networks (higher level) with ECOM-3000 controller. The facility collects data, processes, archives, reflects and transfers information to dispatcher’s computer. The communication will be carried out through GSM/GPRS channel.

The assembly and commissioning of equipment will be carried out by partner of Russian firm and general contractor NP ESAN LLC (Uzbekistan). Specialists of the firm underwent training at ProSoft System.

The supply of 14 sets of ECOM-3000 facilities will be carried out till the end of 2011. Earlier, 50 sets of ECOM-3000 facilities were installed at backbone networks of Uzbekistan, which successfully work.

At the time, ProSoft System will supply TS-32 models to modernize remote control system at the objects of backbone electricity networks.
