OREANDA-NEWS. November 11, 2011. According to the CIS Transnational Statistic Committee data, the cargo transportation volume in CIS countries grew by 11,4% in the average. The most dynamics is recorded in Moldova where it increases by 23,4% and in Kazakhstan (21,9%).

They are followed by Ukraine (9,7%), Azerbaijan (8,1%), Belarus (7,5)%, Kyrgyzstan (6,2%), Russia (5,1%), Tajikistan (4,2%). Uzbekistan presented figures for half year, 2011. It’s growth made up 9,1% as compared with the same period in 2010. In Turkmenistan the cargo transportation volume grew up by 6,7% taking into account the pipe cargo transportation. In Armenia the transportation cargo volume reduced by 7,5%.

At the same time, the Moldova cargo transportation volume is last-but-one ranked among CIS countries. The lowest cargo transportation volume is reported in Armenia – 5,9mln. tons, the highest is in Russia – 2,2 mln. tons. In Uzbekistan the cargo transportation volume made up 550 mln. tons, in Ukraine -480 mln. tons, in Belarus – 240 mln. tons.
