OREANDA-NEWS. November 11, 2011. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) is organising the Expert Council for developing competition in sale of medical products to consider the issues and preparing proposals aimed at promoting competition on the markets of medical products, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.   

The Expert Council will discuss the following issues:

- Registration and restricting access of medical products to the market;

- Substitutability of medical products;

- The signs of violating the antimonopoly law in the actions of economic entities that have dominant positions on the market of medical products, expandable materials and components. Developing dealer policy as a tool of managing antimonopoly risks.

The Expert Council will comprise FAS experts, representatives of other federal executive bodies, the authorities of the constituent territories of the Russian Federation, academia, market participants, representatives of associations, NGOs involved in sales of medical products.
