OREANDA-NEWS. November 11, 2011. Social Business Forum was held in the Ministry of Economic Development. The Forum was intended to present best international practices in the area of social business development to Russian business and scientific community as well as representatives of local governmentsб reported the press-centre of SME Bank.

Olesia Teploukhova, Member of the Board - Deputy Chairman of the Board of SME Bank addressing the Forum highlighted the huge potential of SMEs contributing to social business development in Russia. According to Mrs. Teploukhova, SME Bank is involved in government programs of sustainable social and economic development    implementing the most efficient business practices and business approaches.

The Forum was attended by Professor Muhammad Yunus, Nobel Prize laureate, founder of Grameen Group; Mikhail Kopeikin, Member of the Board – Deputy Chairman of Vnesheconombank; Ivan Oskolkov, Director of Innovation Development and Corporate Governance Department, the Ministry for Economic Development; Mikhail Mamuta, President of the Russian Microfinance Center, experts  from the Grameen Creative Laboratory, High School of Economy, Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, banking, micro finance and investment sectors.
