OREANDA-NEWS. November 16, 2011. The company on its major activities during the last 10 months achieved higher results over the same period of the last year.

Tariff freight turnover to date amounted to 180 590 million ton-kilometers which is 3.1% above the level of the similar period last year.

The volume of transported in the last 10 months cargo is 229 090 thousand tons, that is 4.7% higher than in the same period of the previous year. The increase was caused by the growth of the cargo volumes transported in all directions.

According to on-line data, loading of the goods was 204 418 thousand tons which is 4.4% higher than during the same period of the last year. The growth is associated with an increased loading of coal, ferrous metals, building materials, chemicals and fertilizers, iron ore.

Ten months freight turnover was performed at 103.4% level. Contemporaneous 2010 year turnover was executed on 103.1%.

The planned amount of loaded coal for this period was 84 million 436.7 thousand tons. In fact 84 million 183.5 thousand tons of coal were loaded, that is 99.7% of the plan. In comparison with the same period of 2010, the loading has been increased by 7.1%. To the consumers in the Republic of Kazakhstan 54 million 570.5 thousand tons of coal were shipped, that is 4.0%.higher compared to the same period of 2010.

During 10 months of this year 4 million 524.2 thousand tons of grain (or 148% of the plan) were shipped, including 2 million 668.2 thousand tons (252% of the plan) in interregional direction; and 1 million 856 thousand tons to the export that is 93% of the plan.

As a result of 10 months the JSC “NC “Kazakstan Temir Joly” plan of the goods loading was executed on 102.0%. With the plan to load more than 200 million ton, in fact, over 204 million ton were shipped by the company.

On-line data on the average daily car - performance shows 8 377 tons-km. net, which is 0.7%above the fact of the same period last year.

The average daily output of the locomotive according to on-line data is 1 723 thousand ton-km gross that is 0.3% higher than in the same period of the previous year.

This year, passenger turnover amounted to 12 150 million passenger-km, that is 5% higher than in 2010. This is due to increased car trains caused by increased passenger traffic.

Revenues for the January - October 2011 period are 18.6% higher than 10 months of 2010. This is due to growth of the services provided on freight and passenger transport.
