OREANDA-NEWS. November 18, 2011. Russia’s total production of tractors rose 2.3 times year on year to 14,744 units in the first three quarters of 2011, according to ASM Holding analysts’ data. Of that total, output of agricultural tractors was 12,239 units, up 2.4 times in comparison with the same period of the last year.

The share of domestic models in the YTD total tractor output was 23.2%, local KD assembly of MTZ (Belarus) tractors grabbed 71.4%, and assembly of other foreign brands accounted for 5.4% of the total output.

Tractor wholesales (factory shipments) rose 2.1 times on the year to 13,441 units in January-September 2011.
