OREANDA-NEWS. November 22, 2011. Intergas Central Asia (enters KazTransGas) repaid eurobonds to the amount of USD250 mln, reported the press-centre of KASE.

The bonds of senior unsecured debt with the global notes status (issued according to "S" and "144a" Rules), have been placed on November 4, 2004 against the full and joint security of KazTransGas and Intergas Central Asia to the amount of USD250 mln with the maturity in 7 years (November 4, 2011) with the semi-annual coupon of 6.875% APR and brokerage of ABN AMRO Bank N.V. and JP Morgan Securities Ltd.

Amounts raised through offering eurobonds Intergas Central Asia used to fund its current liabilities and operations. The eurobonds issue allowed Intergas Central Asia raising significant volume of loans on the internal capital markets for longer term of borrowing.

In addition, due to a favorable condition on the global market, this issue facilitated reduction of loans cost if compared with bonds issue on the internal market, and ensured widening of investors range, which improved the company image.
