Secretary and President Zhang Xiaogang of Ansteel Group Corporation met Mr. Frank Bekaert,director of global steel industry of McKinsey & Company, and Mr. Xu Haoxun, Director of energy and basic materials for Asia of McKinsey & Consulting Company, Shanghai, and Mr. Sun Junxin, Director of steel business of McKinsey Greater China and his party. Also Vice President and General Accountant Yu Wnyuan, Vice President Chen Ping and Bai Jingpu of Ansteel Group Corporation attended the meeting, reported the press-centre of Ansteel Group.
 
Zhang Xiaogang expressed that the global steel industry is now in a low-profit times. Under the serious situation, Ansteel needs to carry on helpful exploration about the corporate operation, finance and energy management, etc. McKinsey & Company is a global management consulting firm. Ansteel hopes it to find out the cooperative opportunities through exchanges between both sides and allow its experiences to Ansteel and provide the better supports to the future development of Ansteel. 
 
The guests from McKinsey & Company had the discussions with the leaders of Ansteel Group on three topics of the “medium-term prospects of the steel industry”, the “iron ore prospects” and the “enlightenment to the iron and steel enterprises”.
