OREANDA-NEWS. November 22, 2011. Belarus’ internal debt increased 9.1% on the month in September 2011 to 16.939 trillion Belarusian rubles (Br) as of October 1, 2011, an official with Belarus’ Finance Ministry told reporters.

Over January-September 2011 internal debt expanded 82.8%. Adjusted for inflation, in real terms Belarus’ internal debt expanded 4.8% over the nine-month period.

Of the total internal state debt, the long-term debt of the government accounts for 28.5%, short-term debt for 0% and the debt secured by the government for 71.5%.
