OREANDA-NEWS. November 23, 2011. The theme of conference “Regional Clusters – Platform for Stable Development of the Territory” organized within the framework of the project “PARK: Industrial-Agricultural Regional Clusters” will be discussed in two parallel sections: “PARK – Ecology of the Environment” and “PARK – Management of Stable Development of the Company”, reported the press-centre of Titan.

The work of the sections will be preacted with plenary meeting, visit to the objects of petrochemical and agro-industrial clusters and also visit to the exhibition “Omsk– Open Platform of Euroasian Cooperation” of II International Economic Forum which is held on the same site with the conference. The event will be finished with official reception from organizers of the conference – non-commercial partnership “Center of Innovations” and “Group of Companies “Titan”, which act as the project’s operators on federal and regional levels, accordingly.

Representatives of the government of the Russian Federation, both chambers of the Parliament, state corporations and financial institutions, big scientist, businessmen, heads of social organizations are invited to participate in the event. Also representatives of legislative and executive authorities of the regions where PARK is already being realized and of the regions which are planning to join the project will participate in the conference. In addition the German partners of the project PARK will arrive to Omsk. Cooperation with them is carried out within the framework of Russian-German Feedstock Forum. Thus, Axel Stepken, Chairman of the Board of TUV SUD – one of the leading companies in the sphere of provision of reliability, safety and quality, and also of environment protection and economic efficiency, representatives of ThyssenKrupp (partner of the project by the Silicon cluster) etc. confirmed their participation.
Mikhail Sutyaginsky, deputy of State Duma, head of the project “PARK: Industrial-Agricultural Regional Clusters” will not only comment on the progress of the project realization during the plenary meeting, but will also act as the moderator of the ecological section.

The conference will open on November 24, at 10.00 a.m., ARVD, Congress-Hall.

The First Interregional Conference of the project “PARK: Industrial-Agricultural Regional Clusters” was held on December 17, 2010 and was devoted to the discussion of cluster approach as new technology of development of the regions. More than 50 persons from various regions of Russia participated in the conference, a number of defining agreements was signed. This time it is planned to hold a larger event both by the number of the participants and by the number of the discussed questions.
