OREANDA-NEWS. November 23, 2011. Credit borrowed by small and micro firms in Anhui Province hit over 301 billion yuan till the end of October, 52 billion yuan more than that at the beginning of 2011, according to a Working Conference on Prompting Credit Service to Small and Micro-Business Nov.17.

The increase rate is as high as 21 percent, 3 percentage above that of other loan increase, with growth rate leading the Central China.

Most of incremental loans went to sectors of manufacturing, construction and retailing in the first ten months this year, which stood at 42.6 billion yuan, over 80 percent of total. Meanwhile, the rate of non-performing loans for small and micro-firms continued to drop.

Small enterprises are, by definition, firms with staff member of 20 persons or above, and annual revenue of 3 million yuan or above, while micro-enterprises refer to firms with staff member of 20 persons or below, annual revenue of 3 million yuan or below.
