OREANDA-NEWS. November 24, 2011. Valery Limarenko is to coordinate his management of Atomstroyexport with the position of OJSC NIAEP Director.

Alexander Glukhov, former head of Atomstroyexport,  is appointed councilor of the Rosatom Corporation Director General.

As reported before, a decision on the competencies merger of OJSC NIAEP  and JSC Atomstroyexport was taken in Rosatom. "The two leading companies’ consolidation is to produce a synergetic effect and contribute to their competitive capacity enhancement," - Valery Limarenko, the two companies’ new CEO, noted.

Valery Igoryevitch Limarenko was born on October 19, 1960 in Kharkov. He is a graduate of the Kharkov

aeronautical institute named after N. Ye. Zhukovsky (1983) with the specialty of flight-type engines, mechanic engineer. He became Doctor of Economics in 2001.

In 1983 - 1997 he worked at the All-Union Scientific Research Institute of Experimental Physics (RFNC - VNIIEF) in  Arzamas -16, currently the town of Sarov of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. In 1997-2001 he was Deputy Chairman, First Deputy of the Head of the  Sarov Town Duma on  economics and finance. In 2001 – 2003 he held the office of  the Minister of Construction and Municipal Housing economy of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. In 2003 – 2005 he worked as the Chief Federal Inspector for the Nizhny Novgorod Region of the office of the plenipotentiary representative of the RF President in the  Privolzhsky federal district. In 2005 – 05.2007 he was Deputy   Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region on construction, power engineering, municipal housing economy and IT. Since May 2007 and up to the present he has been  Director of OJSC Nizhny Novgorod engineering company Atomenergoproject.

He was awarded the Order of Honour (2010), and a medal commemorating 65 years of the nuclear branch of Russia (2010).

He is married and has three sons.
