OREANDA-NEWS. November 24, 2011. Uralmashplant has obtained certificates from DVS (Deutscher Verband für Schweissen). The certificates have confirmed that vocational aptitude and quality management system have satisfied the requirements of DIN 18800-7 and EN 3834-2 respectively. The certificates are valid until 2014.

The previous certificates have expired and the audit has been conducted. It was in 1994 when DVS for the first time certified Uralmashplant welding fabrication and proved its compliance with DIN 18800-7 requirements. Then DVS presented the enterprise with Grand Certificate of Vocational Aptitude. This year the certificate validity period has been extended once again.

- This demonstrates that Uralmashplant welding fabrication constantly meets European requirements that are strict and exacting. Most of our customers, especially foreign enterprises, would consider such certificates essential for further cooperation, - comments Vladislav Starodubtzev, Uralmashplant chief welder.

The audit has thoroughly checked all processes of quality management system, normative documents, knowledge and practical skills of welders at workshop No. 31 as per EN 287-1 requirements. Twenty trained and qualified welders shell obtain standard European certificates.
