OREANDA-NEWS. November 29, 2011. Bradesco has been included in the Corporate Sustainability Index of the Sao Paulo Securities, Commodities and Futures Exchange (BM&FBovespa) for the 7th consecutive year.

The companies making up the new ISE portfolio, which will remain valid between January 2 and December 31, 2012, were selected based on replies to a questionnaire by the 187 firms with the 200 most liquid shares on the exchange. This year, both Bradesco’s common and preferred shares (BBDC3 and BBDC4) were included.

A benchmark for socially responsible investments and a driver of good practices in the Brazilian business community, the ISE reflects the return on a portfolio of shares from companies with the best performance in every aspect of corporate sustainability.

The Index contains 100% of those firms who have made a commitment to sustainable development an official part of their strategy, as well as all those companies who published a 2010 Sustainability Report – 90% of which based on Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) guidelines.
