OREANDA-NEWS. December 1, 2011. Belarus’ gross domestic product (GDP) expanded 7% on the year in January-October 2011 to 216.8 trillion Belarusian rubles (Br), an official with Belarus’ National Statistics Committee told reporters.

Industrial output in January-September increased 10% on the year to Br245 trillion (Br8,850/USD 1).

Farm output rose 6.1% to Br56.2 trillion.

In 2010, Belarus’ GDP grew 7.6% on the year to 163 trillion Belarusian rubles. Industrial output amounted to 161.9 trillion rubles, up 11.3% on the year. Farm output increased 2% to 30.8 trillion rubles.
