OREANDA-NEWS. December 1, 2011. A meeting of the expert group for sci-tech cooperation between Gazprom and Wintershall Holding took place today.

The meeting was moderated by the expert group co-chairpersons: Vlada Rusakova, Member of the Management Committee, Head of the Strategic Development Department on behalf of Gazprom and Dr. Gerhard Koenig, Member of the Board of Executive Directors on behalf of Wintershall Holding.

The group was joined by heads of Gazprom's subsidiaries – NIIgazeconomika, Gazprom transgaz Moscow as well as representatives from Gazprom promgaz and Gazprom VNIIGAZ.

The meeting participants discussed the current status of the sci-tech cooperation program. They also addressed the issues of developing a common approach to the gas quality requirements, energy saving, energy efficiency and improving the efficiency of investment projects management. The meeting highlighted the urgency of using eco-friendly technologies and ensuring complex safety at gas transmission facilities.

Based on the meeting results, the parties expressed their contentment with the achievements in the sci-tech cooperation between Gazprom and Wintershall Holding.
