OREANDA-NEWS. December 6, 2011. Transaero Airlines and Armavia have concluded a code–share agreement on the routing Moscow to Erevan. The agreement was signed by Transaero Airlines General Director Olga Pleshakova and Armavia President Mikhail Bagdasarov. The agreement becomes active right after the signing.

Initially under the agreement Transaero will put its code on two daily Erevan – MoscowErevan flights which are operated by Armavia. In spring 2012 Transaero will add one daily flight on Moscow – Erevan – Moscow route which will also be operated under codes of both carriers.

Transaero and Armavia start direct sales on code-share flights.

Mrs Olga Pleshakova said: “I’m confident that the code – share agreement with Armavia will boost relations between Russia and Armenia. Both companies intend to further diversify the partnership and I’m sure that our passengers will benefit from it".
