Opinions of AgroWorld Kazakhstan 2011:

Andrius Leskevicius, Project Director in Eastern Countries, UAB ARV ir ko: “ARVI Group is one of Lithuania’s biggest companies involved in agriculture, food and fertiliser production, and animal waste treatment. At AgroWorld Kazakhstan 2011, we presented enterprises involved in fertiliser production and sales, turkey farming and mixed feed production and marketing. I believe our participation in the exhibition was successful. We had a big and conspicuous stand, and we gained attentions to collaborate. In a short while, we will know whether our commercial expectations come true”.

Svetlana Kuimova, Regional Coordinator, Jamesway (Canada): “Jamesway single- and multi-step incubator systems are supplied to 90 countries alongside with design development of each incubator and innovative technologies. Our company is more than 100 years old. We are successful in the world market, and, in our view, the Kazakhstan market is a very promising one. In this respect, our main goal at the exhibition was to assert ourselves in the Kazakhstan market. We had a very positive opinion of the exhibition although there were not so many visitors as, for instance, at the event held in Moscow. And yet, it was the target audience that was involved – those really interested in our suggestions and products. I would like to say on the side that our name has good recognition in Kazakhstan’s market although no advertising had ever taken place. We had some interesting meetings with Kazakhstan entrepreneurs and farmers and with companies from Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. I would like to thank the organisers for the efficient performance and the opportunity to present ourselves.”

Mickael Barre, IMV Technologies (France): “We are first timers at the exhibition. Our participation was organised by Adepta Association, and the company was presented at the combined national stand of France. IMV Technologies is a world leader in research and development, production and commercialisation of technologies and equipment for animal insemination and embryo transplantation. At the stand, we talked with a lot of visitors. We were pleased to see the professionalism of those specialists who came to the exhibition. We received quite a lot of applications to process after the event. Overall, we are happy with the exhibition, and we plan to participate in the next year’s exhibition with a separate stand.”

Pursuant to the President’s instructions, “Cattle Breeding, Poultry Farming and Veterinary Medicine in Central Asia” became a key topic at AgriCA 2011 Conference. A representative of KAZAGRO National Managing Holding made a report on Developing the Cattle Meat Export Potential. AgroWorld Kazakhstan and AgriCA Conference were sponsored by TechnoKaz Elmi and Kormovik.

Official support for the event was provided by the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, KAZAGRO National Managing Holding, Almaty City Administration, Kazakhstan Union of Poultry Farming, Kazakhstan Union of Farmers, Russia’s AGROSPROM, and diplomatic missions of exhibiting countries.

In 2012, AgroWorld Kazakhstan will be held in Almaty on 6-9 November.
