OREANDA-NEWS. December 12, 2011. In Moscow under the aegis of the Russian-Indian business council the fifth Russian-Indian forum on trade and investment was held. This year's forum was held on the eve of the meeting of the India-Russia Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Cultural cooperation, and the planned visit of the Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to Russia.

The forum was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Sergey Ivanov, and the Indian Minister of Trade and Industry, Anand Sharma.

Particular attention was paid at the forum to the development of mutual cooperation in the field of pharmaceuticals, innovation, scientific research and technology.

Novikombank was represented at the event by its Vice-President Boris Kirillov.

Novikombank’s participation in the Russian-Indian forum on trade and investment was intended to promote business relations in the financial sector and to create favourable conditions for the bank to serve its strategic partners.
