OREANDA-NEWS. December 14, 2011. Kyivstar has connected 5 cities at once to the "Home Internet" service in the South of Ukraine: Feodosia, Kerch, Krasnoperekopsk, Illichevsk and Kotovsk. At present the operator has laid and commissioned the fiber optic network on the basis of the FTTB technology already in 14 cities of the Ukraine’s South. Altogether, the broadband "Home Internet" is available in 83 cities of Ukraine.

Five more cities have joined the "Kyivstar" Internet network in the south of Ukraine: Feodosia, Kerch, Krasnoperekopsk (Autonomous Republic of the Crimea), Illichevsk and Kotovsk (the Odesa Oblast). In these cities 105 multi-apartment buildings have already been connected to the fiber optic network. Thus, more than 11 thousand families will able to use high speed Internet. At present, Kyivstar has already provided connection to the fiber optic network based on the FTTB technology in 14 localities. Overall, the "Home Internet" network comprises 83 localities in Ukraine.

Kyivstar offers its clients unlimited Internet for (rates) тарифам from 55 UAH per month, depending on the required speed. All customers of the "Home Internet" service can take advantage of the unique offer: "Fixed Internet pays for mobile communications." Under the terms of this offer the money paid for the Internet can be reused by the client to pay for mobile communications.

In general, the "Home Internet" is now available in 83 cities of Ukraine, for more than 3 million households. By the end of 2011 Kyivstar is planning to provide broadband Internet services in more than 100 cities of Ukraine.

Kyivstar is actively expanding its fiber optic network to provide customers with high speed Internet of the European level.
