OREANDA-NEWS. December 14, 2011. Belarusians’ real incomes [adjusted for inflation] rose 6.2% on the year in January-September 2011, the National Statistics Committee said in a press release.

Individual incomes rose 44.4% on the year in January-September to 108.7 trillion Belarusian rubles (Br), while consumer prices increased 74.5% year-on-year. As a result, incomes rose 6.2% in real terms.

Real disposable incomes went up 4.8% on the year in January-September 2011.

Incomes per capita amounted to 1,276,000 rubles in January-September 2011, twice the size of the minimum consumer budget and three times as much as the subsistence budget.

The average per capita minimum consumer budget for a family of four totaled Br886,450, while the per capita subsistence budget stood at 574,790 in fixed prices (September 2011).

Social transfers – pensions, allowances and study grants – accounted for 20.5%, down from 20.1% in January-September 2010, and incomes entrepreneurial activities and other income-gaining activities for 10.8%, down from 20.6%, and incomes from property – yield on deposit and dividends – for 3.8%, down from 2.8%.
