OREANDA-NEWS.  December 16, 2011. Chaba Zentai, VTB Bank Senior Vice President, Head of Regional Network Department, paid a working visit to JSC VTB Bank Branch in Volgograd and introduced a new branch General Manager Vladimir Rusaev, reported the press-centre of VTB.

The appointment was carried out under increase of VTB branch network performance. The 2010-2013 Bank Development Strategy is focused on profitability growth of regional offices and their further transformation into modern, highly customer-oriented divisions offering a wide array of high-tech banking products.

Chaba Zentai said: “We continue to reinforce our team of professional regional managers. I am convinced that appointment of such an experienced banking specialist as Vladimir Rusaev will contribute to stronger positions of VTB in Volgograd”.

Vladimir Rusaev was born in 1974. In 1997 he graduated from Volgograd State University majoring in management. In 1996 Vladimir started his banking career as a credit officer at Volgograd branch of JSC Inkombank. From 1999 to 2004 he worked in Alfa-Bank. In 2004 Mr.Rusaev joined CJSC UniCredit Bank where he was appointed Deputy Head of UniCredit Bank Representative Office in Volgograd. From 2008 to 2011 he worked as Head of Corporate Business Regional Center, Deputy Head of JSC UniCredit Branch in Volgograd.

JSC VTB Bank in Volgograd has been operating since 1998. As of 1 December 2011, the credit portfolio of the Branch amounted to RUB 3.3 billion, with customer deposits reaching RUB 1.8 billion.

VTB in Volgograd is particularly focused on foreign operations. The Branch is considered to be a regional leader in this line of business. As of 1 December 2011, due to letter of credit transactions the Branch financed purchase of foreign goods worth of RUB 900 million. The letter of credit portfolio of the Branch for 2010-11 amounts to RUB 1.7 billion.
