OREANDA-NEWS. December 16, 2011. Izhorskie Zavody, part of OMZ Group has fully complied with contractual obligations before TAIF-NK oil refinery (Republic of Tatarstan, Nizhnekamsk).

Under the contract signed in November 2010, Izhorskie Zavody for the first time committed themselves not only in designing and manufacturing of petrochemical hydrotreater DS-302, but the organization of its delivery and installation of its design position at the customer's site.

Installation of the reactor was carried out by Izhorskie Zavody’s service center together with a specialized installation company. The work was performed in the grounds of № 4 shop at TAIF-NK’s refinery. The reactor weighing 212 tonnes, has a diameter of 4,800 m and a height of 15 meters, was set on the foundation of the project position. Installation of the reactor to its design position was performed by two simultaneously operated Liebherr mobile cranes with a capacity of 400 tonnes each. The accuracy of the reactor was controlled by surveying instruments with an acceptable error of not more than 1 mm. The work was carried out promptly and with impeccable quality.

At present Izhorskie Zavody carries out construction of four petrochemical reactors for JSC Angarsk Petrochemical Complex on various stages. Under this contract, Izhorskie Zavody will not only establish the foundations for the equipment’s design position at the customer's site, but also carry out installation internals in of each of the facilities.
