OREANDA-NEWS. December 19, 2011. The ITE Group has announced the signing of an agreement of intent with Tashkent’s leading trade event venue, Uzexpocentre.

The agreement provides for the increased cooperation and partnership of both parties to further develop the exhibition industry in Uzbekistan. ITE and Uzexpocentre will work together to ensure that international exhibitions in Tashkent comply with international standards and continue to improve levels of service and facilities for all participants. The agreement covers the period up to 2019 and was signed by the ITE Group’s Executive Director, Edward Strachan; ITE Uzbekistan’s Director General, Nigora Khasanova and the Director General of Uzexpocentre, Farrukh Abdurakimov.

The long-term agreement marks a new phase of partnership between ITE and Uzexpocentre. During the period of the last agreement between 2004 and 2011, a total of 136 international exhibitions were held, featuring 5937 companies from 47 countries worldwide.

The ITE Group is a recognised leader in the international exhibition business, with 26 offices in 14 countries. Each year, ITE organises over 200 specialist trade events around the world.
