OREANDA-NEWS. December 21, 2011. TNK-BP informs that a traditional industrial safety forum of general directors was held in Moscow participated by approximately 40 heads of all subsidiaries and structures of TNK-BP and representatives of BP and state authorities, reported the press-centre of TNK-BP.

Svetlana Rodionova, Deputy Head, Federal Ecological, Technological and Atomic Supervision Service of the Russian Federation (Rostekhnadzor), pointed out the constructive cooperation between TNK-BP and Rostekhnadzor. “We see how enthusiastic are the leaders of TNK-BP about integration of highest industrial safety standards,” said she.

German Khan, Executive Director of TNK-BP, said that the company has made a long way to development and integration of safety culture in all its subdivisions. Considerable work has been done for environmental protection and, in particular, remediation of oil-contaminated lands in West Siberia. At the same time, despite the substantial investments into health, safety, and environmental protection, company employees must pay even more attention to these aspects. “We set stringent requirements to our employees and general directors and demand their strict compliance with the Golden Rules of Safe Operations,” said German Khan.
