OREANDA-NEWS. December 20, 2011. Two more settlements of the Volgograd region were added to the list of gasified villages: today, Victor Zubkov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, gave the go-ahead signal to switch into operation the gas pipelines in the village areas Salyanka of the Svetloyarsk district and Chukhonastovka of the Kamyshin district.

The areas were gasified under the gasification program of the Volgograd region, which received 21 bln. rubles from OJSC "Gazprom" at the initiative of Mr. Zubkov.

From 2011 to 2013, 258 inter-settlement gas pipelines with a total length of 2998 km are to be constructed in 33 districts of the Volgograd region.

The General Contractor of the construction is LLC "STROYGAZMONTAZH".

In 2011, 68 inter-settlement gas pipelines will be commissioned at once. In just one month "STROYGAZMONTAZH", which is working already in 26 districts of the region, has completed construction of 300 km of gas pipelines.

At the tap opening ceremony on the gas pipelines in the Svetloyarsk and Kamyshin districts Mr. Zubkov called that the chosen rate of gasification unprecedented and expressed his confidence that the administration of all districts of the Volgograd region would find the funds to bring gas into the houses of villagers.
