OREANDA-NEWS. December 21, 2011. Ejunction is a trust promoted by  mjunction, to impart computer training to deserving people from the  specially-abled and financially challenged sections of society. The course is a  four months basic computer training programme covering, MS Office i.e. word,  excel, powerpoint and internet application along with communication skills. The  objective is to empower lives by promoting eLiteracy and creating employment  opportunities to the bustee youth and thereby creating sustainable livelihood.  It was a joint venture by ejunction and Urban Services department, Tata Steel.

The Convocation ceremony for the  same was held on today at Kasidih Community Centre. Mr BL Raina, Chairman,  JUSCO graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and gave certificates to the  candidates.

The training programme started on  11th June 2011 and was completed on 19th December 2011.  30 students from various bustees of our community centres were enrolled for  this training programme of which 17 (6 SC/ST) students successfully completed  the training. Of the successful candidates, 2 were absorbed by Tata Business  Support Services.

All staffs of ejunction team and  Urban Services were present in the function. The programme ended with the vote  of thanks by the Mr. Ravi Shankar Pandey, Sr. Manager, Urban Services.
