OREANDA-NEWS. December 26, 2011. Kyivstar is expanding its "Home Internet" network ahead of schedule. The previously scheduled mark at the level of 100 cities to be achieved by the end of the year will be reached three months earlier. Today the broadband Internet network of the operator has already covered 99 cities. The new cities connected to the "Internet Home" in late September, were Ladyzhyn, Romny, Pavlohrad, Artemivsk and Kotsiubynskie.

Every week "Kyivstar" adds new localities to the broadband Internet network. Recently, fivenew cities have been connected: Ladyzhyn, Romny, Pavlohrad, Artemivsk and Kotsiubynskie, and another 17 thousand families got a possibility of using high speed Internet based on FTTB technology.So, now the broadband "Home Internet" includes 99 cities in Ukraine.

The city of Ladyzhyn of the Vynnytsia Oblast has been connected to the "Home Internet" in the amount of 66 multi-apartment buildings with the household number of 7,000.

In Romny, a city of the Sumy Oblast, Kyivstar has connected 32 multi-apartment buildings to the fiber optic network, so 3,500 families received the possibility of using the "Home Internet".

Pavlohrad, a city of the Dnipropetrivsk Oblast, has joined the network in the number of 15 buildings, home to 1,700 families.

InArtemivsk, a city of the Donetsk Oblast, 14 multi-apartment buildings, which are home to 1,500 families, have been connected to the high speed Internet network.

Inthe urban settlement of Kotsiubynskie, the Kyiv Oblast, 32 houses with 3,500 households have been connected.

Kyivstar offers its "Home Internet" customers unlimited rates. The user’s fee is 55.00 UAH per month, depending upon the required access speed. The customers get the guaranteed speed in the rate plans: from 2 to 80 MB/s. At any time the customers can double access speed to the Internet by using the "Double Speed" service. A unique "wire Internet plus bonuses for mobile communication" offer is available for all the customers.

Owing to that, the "Home Internet" customers receive bonuses in the amount of the user’s fee paid for the Internet, which can be spent on mobile communications services: transfer these to any Kyivstar or DJUICE mobile numbers.

The "Home Internet" service from Kyivstar provides high speed Internet based on the technology FTTB (fiber to the building), which provides reliability and maximum data transfer speed of up to 100 MB/s to the customers.

Overall, the "Home Internet" is available today in 99 cities for 3.8 million households in more than 34 thousand multi-apartment buildings.
