OREANDA-NEWS. December 26, 2011. On 16th of December the winners award ceremony of the annual students’ contest n.a. V.I. Shcherbakov, was held in Moscow in the central office of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company. This year it was attended by 42 students from 16 leading universities of Moscow, Astrakhan, Ufa, Rostov-on-Don, Saransk, and other Russian cities.

Refereed versions of diploma these and courseworks, as well as research papers of full-time students of 2-5 years, first year graduate students, being independent development of chosen themes and containing author's conclusions and recommendations as for the problem researched, participated in the competition. Contest papers were estimated based on subject timeliness, analysis independence, practicability and scientific outlook of the author, logical sequence of presentation, completeness, and depth of subject development.

Following the meeting of an expert council, which consisted of institutes’ and departments’ heads of Moscow's leading universities, offering courses in insurance, as well as heads of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company departments, the contest was won by Petrikova Victoria Alexandrovna, FSBEI HPO Astrakhan State Technical University, Institute of Economics, for the paper “Innovative products in motor insurance - Pay-As-You-Drive” (scientific adviser - Obukhova Nadezhda Sergeevna, associate professor, candidate of economic sciences of FSBEI HPO Astrakhan State Technical University, Institute of Economics).

For her victory, V. A. Petrikova was awarded with 60 000 rubles from Ingosstrakh Insurance Company.

Scientific adviser: Natalyin Alexey Alexandrovich, candidate of economic sciences, associate professor of Finance and Credit Department of N. P. Ogarev Mordovia State University.

A. A. Kunsbayeva and M. A. Firstova were awarded with 30 000 rubles from Ingosstrakh Insurance copamany.

All prize-winner received winners’ certificates and advertising gifts from Ingosstrakh Insurance Company.

This contest, established in honor of the 50th anniversary of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company, was held in Moscow in 1997 for the first time. In 2000 it reached the federal level. In 2008 the contest was named after Shcherbakov Viacheslav Ivanovich, prematurely bygone, who was the head of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company expert council for several years. During these 14 years, 392 students’ papers were examined in branch offices of the company, 38 grants and 71 prizes were awarded, 19 winners were employed in Ingosstrakh Insurance Company, many of whom are still working in the company.

Marina Grigorieva, deputy HR-Director of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company stated: “We are glad that the contest attracted attention of universities and students not only from Moscow but also from other Russian cities. This enables young people to demonstrate their knowledge, asserts themselves as a new specialists. For the company, in turn, it represents an opportunity to find talented young people, new ideas, and future professionals of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company.
