OREANDA-NEWS. December 27, 2011. The Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO became a competent UNICON member. The business school has become the first Russian educational institution that entered this international organization.

The UNICON unites Executive Education programme directors of all world leading business-schools. The organization is considered to be a world platform for exchange of international practices in the sphere of education, conducting research and identifying of educational standards. Traditionally, all UNICON schools-members are educational institutions with a long history, with a great number of clients and with broad expertise.  For instance, among UNICON members are London Business School, Harvard Business School, European School of Management and Technology, International Institute of Management Development, MIT Sloan, Duke CE, etc.

The decision to accept the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO to the UNICON was made by the Membership Committee on the UNICON Board meeting on December, 1, 2009. It was declared within the UNICON Conference on team development in 2009. At that moment SKOLKOVO had only conducted four Executive Education programmes.  In just two-years time, due to high quality of programmes, growing client base and careful selection of faculty SKOLKOVO has managed to cover the full range of agreements and became a competent UNICON member. During five years, that SKOLKOVO exists, 250 educational programmes were conducted, 8 000 people have participated in them.

In the nearest future SKOLKOVO expects to welcome one of the main annual events of the UNICON organization – the conference of directors of UNICON.
