OREANDA-NEWS. December 29, 2011. The Board of Directors of the Bank of Moscow has approved the candidacies of Vladimir Verkhoshinsky and Vladimir Voyeykov to be elected members of the Management Board of the Bank of Moscow, and the appointment of Mikhail Berezov Deputy of the President — Chairman of the Management Board of the Bank of Moscow.

These changes are to take place as of the date of receipt by the Bank of Moscow of the agreement from the Moscow Main Territorial Administration of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.

Vladimir Verkhoshinsky will be responsible for the development of the retail business of and services provided to individuals by the Bank of Moscow.

Vladimir Verkhoshinsky was born in 1981. He graduated from the Financial Academy of the Russian Federation Government specialising Finance and credit. He has the degree of Master of Business Administration and Public Management Program of Stanford University (USA). He came to the Bank of Moscow from VTB Bank where he had held the office of the Vice-President and the Head of the Corporate Development and Strategy Administration since 2009. Prior to jointing the VTB Group Vladimir Verkhoshinsky had worked at the Moscow offices of ZAO CB Citibank, the VR Capital Investment Fund and McKinsey Consulting Firm.

Vladimir Voyeykov’s terms of reference will include the development of the medium and small size business direction at the Bank of Moscow.

Vladimir Voyeykov was born in 1969. He graduated from Khabarovsk State Academy of Economy and Law, the Finance and Credit Department. He came to the Bank of Moscow from ОАО NOMOS-BANK where he held the office of the Senior Vice-President; in 2006 to 2008 he had worked at VTB where he was in charge of the Regional Medium Size Business Department.

Mikhail Berezov was appointed Financial Director of the Bank of Moscow on 3 October 2011. He has been a member of the Management Board of the Bank of Moscow since 31 October 2011.

Sergei Ermolayev and Irina Nikitenko, the Vice Presidents of the Bank of Moscow, were withdrawn from the Management Board but continue working at the Bank.

In accordance with the development strategy of the Bank of Moscow in 2011 to 2014 being a member of the VTB Group, will focus on building up its credit portfolio by attracting medium and small size businesses and developing its presence in the retail banking market.
