OREANDA-NEWS. December 29, 2011. UTair Aviation, which is among the top three Russian airlines, continues to show significant growth.

In January-November UTair Group’s (consists of UTair Aviation, UTair Express, UTair-Ukraine, UTair-Cargo, Turukhan Airlines, Nefteyugansk, Helisur, UTair Europe s.r.o., UTair South Africa Ltd and UTair India) aircraft transported 6,900,204 passengers, a YoY increase of 29.8%.  Industry average growth according to the Transport Clearing House stands at 12.1%.

In January-November 2011 passenger turnover constituted 11,306,871.3 passenger-kilometers, an increase of 36.8% over same period in 2010 and surpassing the industry average for growth in this indicator, which stands at 12.9%.

In total, the Group’s fixed wing aircraft logged 234,526 flight hours, 23.6% more than for the same period last year. The Group’s aircraft delivered 17,122 tons of cargo, 24.3% more than for the same period in 2010 and 4,497.4 tons of mail, 30.3% more than for the same period in 2010. .
