OREANDA-NEWS. December 29, 2011. In December 2011 the UTair STATUS frequent flyer program will celebrate 10 years of service. In honor of this anniversary, every participant in the program was with 1,000 air miles.

The first decade of the STATUS program has proven its practical attraction for to the airline’s domestic and international participants. UTair has constantly expanded the opportunities and privileges available through the STATUS program for participants, which currently exceeds 320,000 satisfied regular passengers. Over the program's ten-year history, the airline has assessed more than 3.6 billion miles and issued more than 200,000 bonus tickets and service class upgrades.

In September 2011 UTair launched a new website dedicated to the STATUS frequent flyer program. For convenience participants can join the program online and use specially designed online tools to calculate and submit air miles, target bonuses and privileges and determine points needed for complimentary flights. Passengers have easy access to information about the program and can get answers to any question regarding the program and its benefits by using the “contact us” section. The ongoing development of partnership agreements with hotels and other travel services remains one of the most attractive aspects of UTair's STATUS program for travelers. STATUS program partners include insurance companies, car rental agencies and, of course, hotels. Today more than 40 hotels in Russia, Latvia and Ukraine cooperate with the STATUS program. Additional opportunities through the program are available though co-branded cards issued by the Bank of Khanty-Mansiysk. Furthermore, the STATUS program is continuing to build partnership agreements to include service providers from a range of different segments in the travel market in the near future.
