OREANDA-NEWS. December 30, 2011. Gazprom Neft has launched its annual charity program "New Year Miracle"  intended to help socially disadvantaged children.

Contributions to this program can be made by any motorist who uses Gazpromneftfilling stations. Under this program, 200 rubles from each sixth filling at any of the Company’s gas stations will be donated for the needs of socially disadvantaged children. This money will be transferred to orphanages in the fourteen Russian regions where the Company operates its filling stations.

When making the contribution, each driver will be able to specify for which particular purpose his or her money should be used: medications, clothes, footwear, sports equipment, books, or toys.

The “New Year Miracle” program will last to the end of 2011.

Last year, this program was supported by about 100,000 drivers who helped to raise over 20 million rubles. The money was spent for the needs of children living in the orphanagesin Moscow, St.-Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Tyumen, Kemerovo, Chelyabinsk, Yekaterinburg, and other cities. Altogether, Gazprom Neft’s program helped 23 orphan homesin Russia.
