In recent years, Baosteel gives play to the advantages of production, marketing and R&D, keeps improving the capability of comprehensive matching service for Talimu Oil Field, and the product sales increases year by year. In last year, the annual sales broke through 30,000t for the first time, doubling that of 2008. The products include both seamless products and longitudinally welded pipes, covering all the steel grades, specifications and connection types, and playing an important role in localized production for Talimu Oil Field.

Baosteel and Talimu Oil Field have long-term strategic partnership, and set up the communication mechanism of multiple channels and multiple levels such as regular exchanged visits of senior executives and close contact of production, marketing and sales. In recent years, Baosteel adheres to customer's needs as the guide and closely follows the leap-forward development process of Talimu Oil Field. In view of the oil field's features of deep wells, ultra deep wells, complicated geology and harsh requirements, through joint R&D and customization, Baosteel provides high-end and individualized products to the customers. The high-end products such as NC52 non-standard small drill rod and BGXT26 ultra-high anti-torsion drill pipes are developed successively, and anti-sulphur drill rods that can satisfy the demands of oil fields are provided in view of the high sulphur operating environment of the oil fields. In the meantime, Baosteel and oil field design department carried out in-depth cooperation to set out from the analysis of the reason of product inlet pipe string corrosion, provide material selection scheme to the oil field, and furthermore jointly develop BT-S13Cr110 oil tubing and put it into operation. Now Baosteel has developed drill rod, corrosion resistant oil tubing and casing, high strength and toughness casing, high anti-collapse oil casing, premium joint, etc. series products.

To serve Talimu Oil Field better, Baosteel constructed the service mode of 3 in 1, agglomerated the strength of each manufacturing unit, mobile team and stationed service to serve Talimu Oil Field in an all-round way and form the three-dimensional information exchange and service network of multiple levels. The technical service team on the site of oil field went down to learn about various well conditions of the oil field, carried out special technical exchanges, followed the track of key projects continuously, solved the technical difficulties of the customers, and provided technical support and service to further strengthen the cooperation with the oil field. In the meantime, Baosteel accelerated the response speed, shortened the delivery cycle through internal coordination. Last year, super 13Cr products such as BT-S13Cr110 were processed urgently for Talimu Oil Field, and the delivery cycle is shortened to 48 days, which are fully approved by the customer.

In recent years, in the cooperation with Talimu Oil Field, Baosteel effectively exerted the advantages of multiple production lines, and possessed the capability to provide one stop matching service to Talimu Oil Field. Now the products supplied by Baosteel to Talimu Oil Field have realized the complete coverage of OCTG and the all-round matching of oil tubing, casing and drill rods. Moreover, the products such as structural pipe, line pipe and welded pipe are also available. Providing entire well complete pipe string matching and one-stop supply of multiple products to Talimu Oil Field effectively reduce the purchase cost and logistics cost of the oil field, which is welcomed by the customers.
