OREANDA-NEWS. January 09, 2012. Finance Minister Fedir Yaroshenko had a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Ukraine, HE Mr. Toichi Sakata.

The meeting has discussed the progress and prospects of relations between Ukraine and Japan in the new year of 2012.

Fedir Yaroshenko said that last year’s active partnership between the countries brings hope can hope for continued cooperation in the future. Ukraine is ready to implement investment projects involving the Japanese capital and to cultivate the countries’ relationship in financial and economic area.

It should be noted that Ukraine and Japan already have several joint projects satisfying both parties. According to HE Mr. Toichi Sakata, Japanese businessmen pay much attention to the Ukrainian market, as Ukraine has a great economic potential complemented by highly professional staff.

"We see Japan as a reliable partner and are ready to continue and deepen mutually beneficial cooperation," - Fedir Yaroshenko said.
