The international finance magazine Global Finance, acknowledging the world's best trade finance banks in different regions and specific countries has recognized SEB as the best bank in the whole Nordic region as well as in Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Sweden. Global Finance confirms that offered solutions for companies in the trade finance field are the best in Baltic States and in Sweden. Among the most recognized trade finance services belong factoring, guarantee letters, credit letters and also a variety of payment methods developed for customers, reported the press-centre of SEB.
 
Global Finance has nominated the best trade finance banks 2012 in 78 countries and 7 regions where these banks have been chosen in an exclusive survey that is going to be published in Global Finance February issue. Criteria for choosing the winners included: transaction volume, scope of global coverage, customer service, competitive pricing and innovative technologies.

"Now more than ever, the availability of trade finance at reasonable prices is crucial to the health of the global economy," says Joseph D. Giarraputo. "We have selected the banks that are best serving the needs of corporations worldwide as they engage in cross-border trade."
