OREANDA-NEWS. January 10, 2012. Bank SNORAS bankruptcy administrator reminds the bank clients that presently they can perform only loan instalment payments to Bank SNORAS accounts. If any other payments are made via Bank SNORAS, these will be returned to the client's accounts in other banks as soon as possible, reported the press-centre of Bank SNORAS.

Bank SNORAS bankruptcy administrator also asks any corporate bank clients which used to use Bank SNORAS to collect payments from their clients to inform their clients that payments should be made to accounts opened in other banks.

Since 28 December 2011, clients have been able to pay loan instalments and other sums, which had to be paid according to the loan payment schedule from 16 November till 28 December 2011. The clients must pay all other loan instalments and payable sums since 28 December 2011 under the order established in the agreement.

As a reminder, loan instalments can be made in the following two ways from accounts held in other banks:

Instalments in litas for loans should be transferred to the client's account in Bank SNORAS, as indicated in the loan agreement.

Payments in foreign currency shall be transferred only to the account in AB SEB bank No. LT217044060007787462.

Clients who wish to pay instalments for Bank SNORAS loans in cash should first transfer this sum to their account in another bank and then perform a transfer to the Bank SNORAS account indicated in the loan agreement.

After taking into consideration that clients were unable to pay instalments and other amounts payable in respect of loans on time, Bank SNORAS administrator adopted the decision not to apply default interest and fees for the period from 16 November 2011 until 31 January 2012.

From 1 February 2012, default interest will begin to be calculated for clients who have not covered the accumulated debt amount and did not renew the instalment payment under the order established in the loan agreements.

The amount payable can be specified by using the telephone banking service or by calling to Bank SNORAS Contact Centre:
