OREANDA-NEWS. January 12, 2012. In 2011 monetary reserves of the National Bank of Moldova grew by USD 247,6 mln., that is by 14,4%, and made USD 1 bln. 965,3 mln. as of December, 30, 2011. As of the end of 2010 they equaled USD 1 bln. 717,7 mln. NBM informs.

In 2011 monetary reserves of NBM reached its all-time peak at a level of USD 2 bln. 018,9 mln., which was recorded on August, 26, 2911. After further insignificant decline, monetary reserves of the National Bank were again restored at its historic maximum on October, 31, 2011. But later they again reduced.

In particular, in November, 2011 monetary reserves shrank almost by USD 60 mln. In 2010 monetary reserves of NBM increased by 16% to USD 1 bln. 717,7 mln. as of December, 2010.
