OREANDA-NEWS.  January 12, 2012. A monthly wage in Moldova averaged 3231 leis in November, 2011, which is 9,8% higher as compared with the same period in 2010. According to the National Bureau of statistics of Moldova, as compared with October, 2011, the average wage grew by 2,2%. Adjusted to the inflation, its real size increased by 0,8% against indicators of November, 2010.

In the public sector a monthly wage of November amounted to 2904,9 leis (+10,4% as compared with Novmber, 2010), and in the real sector it was 3382,5 leis (+9,5%). The highest average wage in November 2011 was given to the banking sector workers and made up 6432,4 leis (+6,5% against November, 2010).

The average wage was 4994,8 leis (+8,9%) at heating, electricity, gas and water supplying companies, 4237,6 leis (+12,9%) at real estate companies, 3748,8 leis (+9,2%) at transport and communication companies.

The lowest wage in November 2011 was given to fishery workers and made up 1615,1 leis (+0,1%.) and to agriculture and forestry workers - 2201,3 leis (+11,1%). Wages in hotel and restaurant businesses, education and trade are also not high, being 2223,1 leis (+8,6%), 2844,1 leis (+18,1%), and 2719 leis (+11,5%) respectively. The average wage in health care and social spheres amounted to 3061,8 leis (+6,2%).
