OREANDA-NEWS.  January 18, 2012. AG Telekom (brand KATV1) is expanding its branch network in the capital and regions of Azerbaijan.

The Company reports that cable TV operator KATV1 opened a branch in settlement Lokbatan.

Speaking at the opening ceremony AG Telekom general director Samir Gurbanov told of the history and development of the Company, strategy of its expansion in the country’s regions, stressing that soon its branch office in Ganja will begin work.

The Lokbatan-based branch renders digital TV cable services and in the future plans to provide service on connection to high speed internet.

The Lokbatan residents will be able to get detailed information regarding KATV1 services, as well as to leave applications for connection to cable TV services. In addition, by applying to the branch the KATV1 subscribers can also carry out monthly payment on spot and be able to get answers on any emerging issues and problems relating to Company’s services. The branch also provides a list of channels retransmitted by AG Telekom and information on all others questions interesting subscribers.

Across the country there are eight KATV1 branches, seven of which are located in Baku. The Company provides cable TV services on analog and digital broadcasting and high-speed Internet. AG Telekom is also the founder of KATV1 newspaper which for convenience of users publishes programs of TV broadcasts, news and other interesting information.
