OREANDA-NEWS.  January 26, 2012. Azerbaijan’s Kapital Bank has announced services network expansion in 2011.

The Bank reports that last year it brought the number of its cash machines (ATMs) up to 421 and POS-terminals up to 466.

"We also observed an increase in the number of customers using plastic cards of KB in 2011. As of 1 January 2012, the rate of Bank’s active cards is 2,131,242," it was informed.

KB was awarded a special prize of payment system MasterCard International for its leader position in the financial market on the number of Maestro cards (531,214 cards) issued over the past year. Last December KB received a certificate of compliance with safety standards PCI DSS V2.0 in the area of payment cards that increases the security of Bank’s pay cards.
