OREANDA-NEWS.  January 27, 2012. "2011 was a breakthrough of the year for Ukrgasbank. We have a positive dynamics by all ratios: financial, as well as quantitative and qualitative. The major highlights of 2011 are capital injections by the state followed by creation of additional provisions by the bank. Note, that profit before creation of provision amounted to UAH 379 million. Due to the active lending during the whole year without essential increase of interest rates we became one of the leaders by the corporate loan portfolio increase resulting in 90% growth in 2011".

• Total assets of the bank increased by UAH 4,320 million and reached UAH 18,157 million that is 31,2% increase as of January 1, 2012. The assets growth is driven by the increase of loan portfolio, securities available for sale and due from other banks.

• The loan portfolio increased by 63% (UAH 5,257 million) to UAH 13,656 million including corporate loan portfolio growth by UAH 5,270 million to UAH 11,151 million as of January 1, 2012.

• Customers funds increased by UAH 391 million (i.e. by 7,6%) to UAH 5,513 million of which corporate customers funds attracted to current and demand accounts of Ukrgasbank increased by 46% and amounted to UAH 1,226 million including state budget funds of UAH 12,4 million.

• Securities portfolio increased by UAH 961 million (or by 31%) and amounted to UAH 4,084 million as of January 1, 2012.

• Increase of highly liquid assets by 16.6% (from UAH 1 361 million to UAH 1 587 million as of January 1, 2012).

• Increase of secondary liquidity by investing in government securities (T-bills) by 77,2% compared to November 2011 (from UAH 1,827 million as of December 1, 2011 to UAH 3,236 million as of January 1, 2012) and by 34,9% compared with the beginning of 2011 (UAH 2,398 million as of January 1, 2011).
