OREANDA-NEWS. January 30, 2012. Belarus’ beer output increased 18.5% on the year in 2011 to 46.9 million decaliters, the National Statistics Committee told reporters.

In December, beer output rose 12.2% to 3.6 million decaliters.

Beer inventories were at 1.8 million decaliters as of Jan 1, 2012, 46.3% of the average monthly output.

Inventories reduced 9% from January 1, 2011 and grew 0.5% form December 1, 2011.

Beer sales increased 6.6% on the year in 2011 to 50.741 million decaliters.

According the official report, they sold 53.46 litres of beer per capita in Belarus in 2011 to compare with 50.16 litres per capita sold in 2011, up 6.6%.
