OREANDA-NEWS. January 30, 2012. Kyivstar reports on early connection of the 100th Ukraine’s locality to the "Home Internet" network. The "jubilee" locality, where the "Home Internet" service is now available, is the settlement of Yuvileiny, Luhansk Oblast, which has a population of 16 thousand people.

Having started the construction of broadband Internet in March 2010 in 7 major cities of Ukraine, to date "Kyivstar" has already connected the 100th consecutive locality to the fiber optic network, this time it is a settlement of Yuvileiny, Luhansk Oblast. In the settlement of Yuvileiny Kyivstar has connected 65 high-rise buildings to the fiber optic network, which means that about 7,000 families or nearly every second resident of the settlement can take advantage of the "Home Internet" service: a broadband access to the web on the basis of the FTTB technology.

The "Home Internet" customers get a service that includes the advantages ofhigh speed fixed Internet and mobile communications. Paying from 55 UAN per month for unlimited internet access, the customer receives bonuses in the amount of monthly user’s fee, which he/she can transfer to any Kyivstar or DJUICE phone numbers.

Kyivstar provides Internet based on modern FTTB technology (Fiber to each building). Its advantages are high speed data transmission of up to 100 MB/s, easy connection without modems and phone lines, unlimited monthly traffic, round-the-clock technical support.

The technology advantages, quality of service and benefits of the "Home Internet" rate plans have already been appreciated by more than 300 thousand customers. By estimates of market analysts, Kyivstar is a leader in drawing new customers of the broadband wire Internet among the ten largest providers of the service.

Altogether, at present the "Home Internet" service based on the FTTB technology is available in 100 localities of Ukraine and for more than 39 thousand residents of multi-apartment buildings.
