EKou Iron Mine Honored as Top 10 Excellent Mines
OREANDA-NEWS. February 02, 2012. The Forth National Metallurgical Mine “Top 10 Excellent Mine” evaluation activity held by China Metallurgyical Mine Enterprise Society in Beijing. After reports by 20 mine enterprises, question and evaluation by expert appraiser team, E’Kou Iron Mine of Mine Company of Taiyuan Iron & Steel (Group) Co., Ltd won the honorable title of “Top 10 Excellent Mines”. Meanwhile, the head of this mine was awarded the title of “Top 10 Excellent Mines Header”, reported the press-centre of TISCO.
E’kou Iron Mine is a lean magnetite mine. For years, the mine insists on strategy of “high quality and low cost” to its special geography condition and inferior natural position, and relys on technic innovation, management innovation and system innovation. With its growing production capacity, its pellet product takes a predominant position in TISCO raw material markets by right of its stable granularity and excellent reduetion swellability. Its low up-stream cost plays a great role in raising TISCO’s market Competitiveness.
At the mean time, the mine stresses the construction of a harmonious mine. It offers a good life and working environment for its employees, shares the development achievement with its staff. The field dog houses were built as noise-insulation type, more than 10 million RMB Yuan was invested to improve the de-dusting equipment, and new residences were built. The worker club was functionally rebuilt, the free time activities of workers and their family members are colorful. The event of “People moved E’kou Mine in 2011” creates a solidaric, upright and positive humanity environment and moral atmosphere.
