OREANDA-NEWS. February 08, 2012. In autumn of 2011, ROSNO launched a pilot project involving the use of E-procurement site B2B-Center. Now the company efficiently applies the new electronic trading system enabling purchase of various goods and services, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

As part of optimization of the purchase process, ROSNO chose the B2B-Center system to conduct electronic trading. This measure is aimed at reduction of costs and further improvement of the insurance company’s performance.

In three months, 8 tenders were successfully held. The main types of purchases pertain to IT, marketing services, as well as household and technical support services.

"Three months past the launch of this electronic site, we can now safely conclude that the adoption of the new tender system is a success. The use of the B2B-Center platform has enabled us to minimize the company’s costs, improve transparency of tender procedures, and significantly expand our pool of suppliers", comments Mr. Gwyn Thomas, Director of the Procurement Centre of OJSC IC Allianz (ROSNO trademark).

"A leader in its sector, ROSNO consistently builds a transparent, clear and efficient system of relationships with its clients and business partners", says Mr. Andrey Boyko, commercial director of B2B-Center. "We are pleased that in this respect ROSNO makes use of our site’s potential: the company actively engages the e-trading system not only as a supplier of high-quality insurance services, but also as a buyer arranging its own procurement".
