OREANDA-NEWS. February 9, 2012. Many Uralkali employees are not only highly skilled professionals but also enthusiasts seeking to open new horizons for themselves and for people around them. Their high dedication has been regarded by the administration of the Perm territory. In late January, four Uralkali employees were awarded for their personal contribution to the development of the region.

Governor's Award was given to Nikolay Dembovsky, Director of Berezniki-4 Production Unit. With his active participation a project of expansion of Berezniki-4 Mine hoisting capacity from 14.5 million up to 19.8 million tonnes of ore per year was completed in 2011. Currently, a project of expansion of processing complex capacity from 1.3 million up to 3 million tonnes per year is being implemented at Nikolay Dembovsky’s production unit. At Nikolay Dembovsky’s suggestion, a large-scale project for landscaping of the his production unit will be developed in 2012.

A Letter of Gratitude for his personal contribution to the development of the Perm territory was received by Boris Serebrennikov, Chief Engineer of Solikamsk-1 Production Unit, Full Cavalier of the Order of Miner’s Glory. Under his technical management the team of the Production Unit systematically exceeds target production. High qualification and perfect knowledge of production processes allow Boris Serebrennikov to determine competently the technical policy, to improve quality and reduce production costs, as well as to improve technology, raise production efficiency and productivity.

A Letter of Gratitude for his personal contribution to the development of the Perm territory was also handed to Andrey Kriktunov, deputy chief mechanical engineer of Berezniki-4 Mine, a member of the City Duma. He is not only taking active part in business and public life of Berezniki, but also pays great attention to promotion of skiing within the city and the territory. Andrey Kriktunov is an initiator of the movement of ski racing enthusiasts and every year is involved in the activity of working groups for major territorial and federal competitions.

Vasily Malgin, a team leader of a mining team at Solikamsk-2 Mine, also received the Governor's award for his professionalism and devotion to duty. He has acquired an extensive practical experience and has proven himself a responsible, diligent and efficient employee. Due to the competent organization of work, his team always comprehensively fulfill the plan for sylvinite ore mining.
